It's a perfect place to buy hostess gifts or New Orleans-y gifts for out of towners. The shop is filled with shirts and numerous other products from local artists, so you can feel good about shopping here. The offerings are unique and change often, so you always see something new. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the wellness and beauty products offered as well. Highly recommended!”

I really like the styles and colors, and they will measure you and keep your specifics in their database (if you wish) and help you find the best fitting shirt in the design you want.The shirts are a little pricey, but I really like them and am not a fan of tucking my shirt in - so this is perfect for me.The staff is AMAZINGLY helpful! I really can’t say enough about them. I’ve bought three shirts for myself here over the last few years (and a couple for my son) and I couldn’t be happier.The store is in an old house, and it has that old uptown house feel to it - I really like that. There’s even a room where you can sit relax, and I saw a few bottles of good booze but didn’t know how to go about having some, so I don’t know if that’s for anyone or just their VIP customers (and I don’t think that I’m in that category with my 1 shirt/year purchase rate.Overall, this is one of my favorite shops along Magazine. Definitely will keep coming here and maybe I’ll get to have some of that Scotch or Bourbon. ☺️”

“Like the best parts of New Orleans it is strange and wonderful and filled with surprises. We frequented this shop no less than 3 times in the same week and we never walked out empty handed. Some reviews suggest the prices are high-I did not find that to be the case. The variety was crazy, the quality of products solid and the staff were super kind and helpful. I am a bit annoyed (but I understand) the all sales final policy. I had bought a mask for my son and it didn't end up fitting him. So we bought another. Oh well. But this is the perfect store for prepare shopping.”

“I heard of this store through a friend who highly suggested it, I had never even seen it and I live 5 minutes away. I stopped in quickly today on a break from work and tried on a few things. I found a super cute top on sale but the dress I fell in love with was something I didn’t want to spoil myself with right after Xmas. I mentioned to the stylist to call me if it ever went on sale as I was leaving. And Gia, the stylist, text me about an hour later saying they added it to the sale rack. Now THIS is customer service. Everything in the store is cute and fun, and there is a wide variety of items. Pieces you could easily use for business casual or something to stand out of the crowd. I will definitely be going back to this shop.”

“There are countless shops in New Orleans, and a million different ways to spend your money. But SCSC is different and special—it’s a gorgeous boutique owned and curated by two local women who are warm and attentive and discerning, and who obviously care as much about their clientele as they do about the clothing, jewelry, and home decor they carry. Most of what you’ll see is designed by women from around the world, or it’s fabulous vintage (sometimes reimagined, Mardi-Gras style). Everything is fun and colorful and unique, and the jewelry is amazing. I’ll never forget when I was at a restaurant in Massachusetts and a woman at the next table over pointed to my necklace. “Is that a Saint Claude piece?” she asked. Then we had a little gush-fest about how much we both adore SCSC. I take all my visiting friends to this lovely little local shop, and they always leave with some new beautiful something—and a little more bounce in their step.”
