“I had an excellent experience with Jason at the Mavis Tires & Brakes location on Ryan Street in Lake Charles. I want to be clear that this review is specifically for this location.
Even though they were extremely busy, everyone remained professional, courteous, and organized. They had several technicians working, so they were able to get my vehicle in within a very reasonable amount of time.
What impressed me most was the honesty and transparency. Jason took the time to show me exactly what my brakes and rotors looked like and explained everything in detail so I could clearly understand what needed attention and why. Before coming here, I had visited other shops where I didn’t feel confident in the recommendations I was being given. At this Mavis location, I never felt pressured or like anyone was trying to sell me services I didn’t need. Instead, I felt informed, respected, and comfortable making the right decision for my vehicle.
Jason was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. It’s hard to find honest, trustworthy customer service these days, and he definitely delivered. If you’re looking for a shop that values integrity and treats customers with respect, I highly recommend the Mavis Tires & Brakes location on Ryan Street in Lake Charles. I’ll definitely be returning for future service.”

“Got new tires and found my old truck was wobbling bad on highway. Wheels had play top/bottom/left/right. The mechanic was very straightforward. He showed and explained the problem to me. Hooked me up with pretty much an entire new front-end suspension system for my truck. A lot of work, fast and friendly.”
“Everyone was courteous!! The front staff were very helpful and Savannah took time to set us up with a new credit card application for the work we had done on the 2013 Avalanche. She was very helpful. Anthony quoted a price for the work and that is exactly what we paid. His price was tax included which is what I prefer.
Shane was very helpful also at the computer. Mechanic performed his work diligently and did a good job. No scratches on the paint job either.!!!!
I had the tires rotated and balanced. No charge. They stood behind their promise when you buy tires from them. They were able to get right on it so I didn’t have to wait very long. Very cordial folks. I like doing business here.”

“We hit something on I-10 that destroyed the tire. We were able to make it to Advantage on the tire. They did not have the tire we needed but after calling to make sure another tire store had the right tire, they gave us directions and put enough air in the tire to get us to that location. They were so nice and refused to take any payment for their help. Certainly highly recommend this establishment.”

It was close to closing time, yet Mr. Chris insisted they could take a look at my tire and do what needed to be done before closing. It was eventually discovered that I had a screw in my tire, so the staff plugged the tire in record time. Special thanks to Mr. Chris for providing excellent customer service! There was a piece of metal sticking out of the tread, so the guys immediately removed and repaired the tire for us, and we were back on our way to Texas. “I bought a new F-450 work truck and had the shiny aluminum rims swapped for some matte black ones with 37 Toyo’s. I’m the process of installing new tires and rims the dealership apparently had cut a valve stem. I pulled into the Southern Tire Mart on hwy 108 in Sulphur, La to get it checked out. It was the passenger side out side dual wheel that kept loosing pressure. It was also raining very heavily and about 40 degrees. As I walked up to store entrance I was greeted by “Haley” a tire technician who happen to be working in the first bay near where I parked. She immediately had me pull truck closer to her bay and began looking for the issue. Was very impressed with every single person I encountered at the facility. 20-30 minutes later she came inside to let me
Know she had removed the tire and found a cut valve stem leaking, and had replaced it. I asked if they would please install an extension on the both side of inner dual ties for easier access, she said no problem. 15 minutes later was completely taken care of. So I go to pay and neither the counter or her wanted to charge me. I didn’t n have cash on me that day but was so impressed by the work ethics of their employees, the following week I made it a point to hit the ATM and swing by and give her a very much appreciated Tip for the previous week when She and co-workers went above and beyond to help me out and get me back working.

I was expecting the pay a diagnostic just for finding out it was the starter but these guys didn't try to take advantage of me in any way, and when I decided to replace it myself, they handed me the keys.
