“We got sandwiches. a hot pastrami, which was really really good, nice flavor and tender.
The chicken salad was such a perfect consistency, the meat was not dried out and the mayo was not over done.
Friendly service!
In their meat case, the advertised chicken thigh special was great we bought a bunch.

“This is my kind of place. You can find most needs including hot food, alcoholic beverages,tobacco products and snacks. They have videos, some fishing items, automotive needs and lots of other things.Inside is an area with four tables so you can sit and grab a quick bite. I was in close to lunch time and shared a table with a regular while 4 of us had an enjoyable conversation.They sell gas and at the best price I've seen in a couple weeks. The gas pumps look well maintained. It is old but clean. I'll stop again when passing by.”
“Wonderful store with in-house made foods, tons of jellies, jams, baked goods, etc. Warm and friendly staff. They have fresh vegetables, meats, dairy and so much more… many products made from locals! Check them out! We just moved into the area, this will definitely be one of my go to places from now on!”

“Called this week to order some platters for the weekend, that should’ve been the first clue not to deal with them. First, you have to call them back because they don’t know how to transfer from one department to the other. Then I mistakenly had the wrong day. Trying to call them back just to change from Saturday to Sunday was a freaking nightmare. No one was answering in produce and customer service wouldn’t even take a update: They reached out and will be talking to the staff to avoid this again. Brought them up to 4 stars because owning a mistake is a good sign of leadership and then using it for training can help prevent others from the same issue.
note to update the day for them. Spent pretty much my whole lunch break trying to call them as they kept hanging up on me. I tried calling back that night and still couldn’t update as no one could take a note or even transfer a call without hanging up. Luckily Shaw’s could do it all in a one simple call after I gave up on Hannaford.”

“I want to give a big thank you to Katie at customer service. I accidentally locked my keys in the car. Katie was great , she looked a few places up on the computer so I could contact a family member to help me out. She also dialed a few numbers on the phone for me which were wrong, ( my fault) it’s hard to remember numbers when your so use to just pushing a button by someone’s name!! She did this with taking care of people at customer service & answering all Shaws calls. Shaws in Sanford Me has a great associate and it was a pleasure to meet someone that is excellent with the public. Thank you Cindy”

“A good place for gas and breakfast, not far off of I-95. We had gas (Irving) and then stopped for some necessities and food.
The bathrooms were decent, keys are up by the register so ask for those.
The breakfast food we ordered was really good. Western omelette (which was a sandwich) and burrito were both really good. Hash browns (cubes) were fresh and were crispy. They have a liquor selection as noted by others, and some snack foods and sodas. Coffee is green mountain, and tasted good too- not old or burned.
For us, this was a perfect stop. There seemed to be some regulars that pick up sandwiches, and I’d be one if I were around here.”

“Better than average for the Walmart experience. The store seems cleaner and better maintained than most other Walmart locations. Shelves are well stocked and the staff is more helpful than average. There are exceptions but worthy of four stars.”
