Maine Gourmet Chocolates is a wonderful little shop with delicious and unique handmade chocolates. The staff is absolutely lovely, friendly, and provides amazing, exceptional customer service. The owner is very friendly and makes everything on site with great care. They offer a wide selection of chocolates, from classics like truffles and caramel truffles to novelty options like jalapeno and pop rock chocolate, as well as hot cocoa bombs and chocolates with nuts or peanut butter. Not one chocolate is a miss; they are all terrifically good, tasty, and absolutely delicious. The milk chocolate and white chocolate taste so good. They also create special items like chocolate covered strawberries with plump, red, juicy berries and decorative edible details. The price is quite reasonable for the high quality. This small business is worth supporting and consistently goes above and beyond for its customers.
We love Maine Gourmet Chocolates! They are so friendly and make great chocolates. I recommend the pop rock chocolate (so fun!), the hot cocoa bombs, and their truffles - I love all the classics (may favorite might be the caramel truffles) and also the novelty truffles like the jalepeno. 10/10
