About Avis Car Rental
Avis Car Rental at Bangor International Airport provides a well-known rental service. The pickup counter is extremely convenient, located right next to the baggage claim. Many customers report quick, courteous service during check-in and return. The staff, including managers and representatives, are frequently described as helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-friendly, often going out of their way to assist. In specific situations, such as when other rental companies have left customers stranded or with unsuitable vehicles, the team has provided acceptable vehicles, applied discounts, and maintained a positive attitude during stressful circumstances. However, some long-term users note that the vehicles are acceptable but not exceptional, and there can be significant frustration with local customer service phone lines, which often transfer to a call center instead of providing direct support. Overall, many customers highly recommend this location for its helpful employees and convenient service.

Exceptional experience all around - super easy check in process without any of the usual up-selling that the rental counters usually try to do. The car was brand new and clean, and dropping the car back off was a breeze. This should be the model for renting a car from any Avis location!
