Bar Harbor Laundromat is a good, clean little laundromat in the heart of Bar Harbor. The facility is in nice shape and generally clean. While some machines are sometimes out of order, there are usually plenty of working machines, including larger washers and dryers that work fine. Pricing is fair, with machines accepting credit cards, though the detergent vending machine does not. The change machine typically works correctly. It is a helpful spot for tourists and families, felt safe enough to leave laundry running, though it can be slightly tricky to find on GPS.

    Agree with previous reviewer. It was clean and efficient . There were a few machines and dryers out of order but plenty of machines available! Change machine to provide quarters and washers and dryers worked well!

    We had no problems here, so not sure why it gets bad reviews. Bar Harbour was half way round our road trip and a rainy Sunday afternoon so laundry time. It does laundry - job done !

    I only have used the drier and eat ate up a favorite skirt, and sometimes it's doesn't get too hot.
