Downeast Laundromat has improved significantly with clean facilities and many new machines, offering both quarter and card payments. It is affordable and convenient, especially for travelers. However, some machines are old or broken, and the floors can be dirty. The dryers work well, but there are limited chairs and no restrooms. Overall, it is a clean, changing place with room for further improvements.

Really good place to be at for laundry; this was my first time and everything is clean and organice; bring my baby whit me and I feel save to be around; the option to tap/swip/cash pay is just fantastic!
Great job to the owners. My only concern is the price but understand since everything is going up.

Best washers in Ellsworth area hands down. Prices seem fair or cheaper then others in town. The new owners have continued to upgrade and keep the store nice.
