It is a family-friendly site close to Acadia National Park, local restaurants, and shops, making it a perfect base for exploring the area and enjoying beach camping. The sites are very nice, with plenty of shade, and many are right on the water, offering beautiful views and the chance to see planes land nearby. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and has convenient amenities such as a snack shack. Though some water issues occurred, staff kept guests informed, and the problem was resolved quickly. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the accommodations include deluxe cabins equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Kids seem to have a lot of fun, and families appreciate the quiet nights and beautiful scenery. Limited public access to the water can be a drawback, as only two spots are available for water access, requiring some guests to carry gear. Overall, visitors highly recommend this KOA for its location, views, and friendly atmosphere.
