Edgewater Motel & Cottages is a hidden gem and a beautiful, peaceful spot right on the water with stunning, gorgeous views of the bay. The property is very clean and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. It offers cottages and motel rooms with basic decor. Guests note the terrific hospitality and friendly hosts. Many highlight it as a perfect, amazing experience and highly recommend it, stating they will definitely return.
Nice cottage. Clean and quiet. Wonderful view of tidal waves. But no view of sunrise or sunset. Very close to route 3, but hard to find the correct turn if you drive too fast.

I've stayed at Edgewater 3 times and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor and just a few minutes drive. Always very clean and the views are fantastic. Thank you for the hospitality on my most recent trip. I will see you all again next year
