“I just hosted my mom's surprise 60th there! It was fantastic. The space is huge, we only had about 30 people, but it didn't feel too big and we were able to eat and hang outside under the pavilion, while it rained.. We served the food inside the building and used the kitchen to prep.”
“We get to this place every year for the mid coast sea kayak rendezvous for our socials and dinner. (With the exception of the last 2 years due to covid) The food has always been great! There is a good selection of beers, which is good because I'm not a fan of hoppy beers. The best part is the staff, they are always helpful and super friendly, they always go above and beyond. “For those who like museums that pit together an entire manufacturing process, this maritime museum is great! Wooden shipbuilding from the ribs and hull up, with both the hand tools and the early electric tools in the original buildings. Was a working shipyard for wooden schoolers from about 1900 to 1925.”
