For those who like museums that pit together an entire manufacturing process, this maritime museum is great! Wooden shipbuilding from the ribs and hull up, with both the hand tools and the early electric tools in the original buildings. Was a working shipyard for wooden schoolers from about 1900 to 1925.

A wonderful experience into the history of shipbuilding in Maine. We learned much on the boat tour as well.
