“I mean All I did was admire all the old and still useful tools in the shipbuilding section, model boats , good gear definitely check this place out and walk around all the grounds respectfully this place is a hidden gem , just for a small walk and some appreciation for artisans and crafts, when I went not much was going on. It was just beautiful and we only talked to the staff in the store (lovely) but I imagine if you want to learn about building wooden boats or know about wooden boats or like talking about wooden boats, someone here will definitely chat your ear off if they have time. And like every other review of this peninsula. I'm glad places like this exist in the way that they do beautiful.. also if you made it this far in the review , I actually lived on a wooden boat for 2 years and two of some of the best years of my life, so yes, I'm also a little nostalgic. This place is beautiful. Third time I used that word.”

“What a little gem we stumbled upon hidden away just west of "downtown" Stonington! A neat little shop hidden behind a house on the waterside. A nice selection of books and gifts as well as some artwork. Not all the usual junk found in a lot of tourist traps. Yes there are things like post cards and playing cards but a nice selection of books and some cute Christmas cards also. It was formerly a blacksmith shop and had been in the family since 1902.”
