“It’s a good thing I found this place on a whim. Otherwise, I would’ve missed it with all the traffic and other distractions one would usually face on Route 1 (at least during the summer). We were warmly greeted by Mary and discussed the past of Stockton Springs as well as maritime-related matters that are historic to this particular region of Maine. Her dog also greeted us too! With that being said, I will be returning to browse under the beautiful figurehead and purchase more books for my nautical collection.”
