“Hannaford in Gorham, ME is a fantastic store. Very clean and maintained. The produce is fresh and always stocked. The meat dept staff are very energetic and happy, gives the store a great feel. The staff are helpful and friendly.
This is an update review...
I do wish the hannaford app/rewards was easier to use. It seems most employees dont know how to use it or have the answers. It becomes frustrating.
But still a 5 star for me !!”
“My prescription refill was taking a long time (> 45 days) and was expected to take even longer until Dennis looked it up and coordinated with the Pharmacist to get it filled right away as I had run out of the medicine that day. Not happy about the 45 day problem but thrilled that Dennis saved the day! He's always been great to work with!!”
“This is a great pharmacy. The big box pharmacies, grocery stores and discount chains have massive turnover, young people that are often rude, and they really don't care. Community Pharmacy is helpful, efficient and everyone is pleasant and professional.”

“Hannaford is one of our go-to grocery stores. It’s clean, easy to shop, and they usually have everything we need in one trip. The produce is fresh, shelves are well stocked, and the layout makes sense so you’re not wandering around forever.
The staff has always been friendly and checkout is quick, even when it’s busy. Prices feel reasonable and the store brand stuff is actually pretty good quality.
Overall just a solid, dependable grocery store that makes shopping easy.”

“Charlie, the pharmacist, is amazing. I usually pick up my prescription at a different Walgreens location and every month I run into issues. I had to transfer my script to the Gorham location and Charlie actually explained the issues to me and treated me like a human being. I now know how to fix these issues for my next refill so I don't have to struggle every month. No one at the other location has ever explained anything - they just shoo me away.I have heard it's tough out there for Pharmacists right now, so I never really judged my experience at the other location. I feel for them. But it was really refreshing to feel like this man genuinely wants to help people in this career.Thank you, Charlie!”

“I've been to bad pharmacies (Walmart) but this isn't it. I feel bad for all the bullies picking on the employees here. If a script isn't ready it's because the doctor has to approve it but the techs are always available during business hours to give a status check (just press 0) . They've always been friendly, helpful and polite here and quick to fix anything. I can't say the same for the customers standing at the counter harassing them, shame on you people.”
