“I purchased an Xbox gift card on my way home from black mountain this afternoon, when I got home I discovered I didn’t have the activation code. I called and spoke with Pat, he went way above and beyond normal customer service to assist me. He sent me a text message with the activation code! Thank you again for the wonderful service!”
“I'm not going to lie, I was so surprised by this gem of a place. My friends and I had seen their social media and decided to go based on the cocktail offerings alone. I had creeped their menu before as I'm gluten and lactose intolerant but it didn't look like they had any significant offerings for me. I figured it was going to be an eggs/meat/potato kinda meal. Boy, was I surprised when I got there to find out that they had gf bread, rolls, and pizza dough! And, they also carried vegan cheese! I had the BEST gf/df breakfast pizza that day. Their gf pizza crust was soft and fluffy and very not-cracker like unlike most gf pizzas I've had. I would definitely consider making the hour drive to visit them again!”
“I am a "local" and I can't say enough about how wonderful the cashiers are at Towle's. They are friendly and engaging and a delight to interact with. It is not easy in today's world to serve the public with so many varied customer expectations but towle's employees come through with courtesy and humour. They face many challenges with the various customers they face that often sadly leave them to resolve the disgusting leavings in the restrooms that no one should have to deal with, and they bear the brunt of it. Poop on the floor. Poop on walls. Why?! Just why?! Public restrooms could be an entire horror category unto itself and it only takes one miscreant to defame one restroom as an example of one place of business. Our local library has a restroom in the basement that offers a diaper changing station. Someone changed a diaper on said fixture and left the dirty diaper on the station and closed it up to be found by the next unwitting user of the restroom. Why?! Just why?! Neither the store or library have control of what people are doing when they use the facilities. Please stop blaming the staff of these places.”
“Just went in to get Witch Hazel to make my own toner (can’t trust what is in the other stuff). Cashier was so helpful! Even gave me other uses for it- like those nasty mosquitoes. This location always has such great customer service and is one of the reasons I keep coming back. ☺️”
“Great place with a full service gas station and a crew that goes out of they're way to help!! Good deal on heating oil and get a discount on gas when you sign up on heating oil. A plus hometown spot. Only thing that is not good is they close down daily for like half to an hour right at lunchtime. It's no biggie to me but the money they are loosing as I watch so many drive offs. You'd think there's a better way. It explains 3.9 should be a 5”
“I love going here when I’m on my way out of town! Best coffee selection and it’s always stocked. They also carry unique products like Stok caffeine shots. You can get gas and whatever else you need here. Never any issues with employees”
