“I had a leak in one of my tires that my husband kept adding air to and when I finally had time to deal with it, I called Don Foshay's. I didn't know that they didn't take appointments more than a day in advance until I called. I called the next day and was told they could get me in " if I could be there very soon ". I live about a half an hour away and got there as fast as I could. They got me right in, the waiting room was clean, golf was on TV and I was back on the road in 25-30 minutes.I think it cost $35, however when I got home I realized the tire air cap was missing. I didn't call and mention it because I honestly didn't want to drive back for it, not being from SoPo. Writing this reminds me I still need to get one. Frustrating because it's something I constantly forget to purchase and a silly thing for them to forget.”

“I was having trouble with the transfer case on my 4X4 Suzuki and set an appointment with Pete at the Portland AAMCO garage.The appointment was several weeks out due to the demand of services at Pete’s AAMCO garage.As the appointment drew near, I towed my car to the shop and Pete said that backorders and supply chain issues had put him behind on his appointments. He said he would get to my car as soon as possible.I completely understand what he is going through because that is today’s state of affairs and left the car knowing he would do everything in his control to complete my job as quickly as possible.Pete must have worked through the night and weekend to finish my car on the date of my appointment.Pete’s character and work ethic reminds me of the way America used to be. These folks were no different BUT they did suggest I drop off the car and they’d get to it in between other appointments they had throughout the day. So that’s what I did. Good service, good communication, and honest - car passed inspection without any phantom “your left side vanity bumper fluid light is out that we replaced for $30” fees tracked on. Friendly shop pups, too.”

“I've brought all 3 of my vehicles to Lou's since 2014. First vehicle was a 2001 F-350 and the exhaust is still solid to this day, ten years later. Second vehicle done last year, all stainless and all perfection. Yesterday I brought my 2014 Taurus in and had both mufflers (for an inspection sticker) replaced with stainless for half of what my garage quoted me, and the best part was that I was in and out in an hour's time. Lou's exhaust on my F-350 outlasted the original exhaust on my car that was brand new in 2014. They do quality work that lasts and you will not beat their pricing.”
