Convenience Stores near Dexter, ME

“We have been wanting to try the pizza here because we had some elsewhere in town that was okay but we thought the crust could have been better. Being fairly new to this part of Maine it is good to develop go-to places for different things. So we ordered a large pepperoni pizza and onion rings. The onion rings were good and the pizza was terrific. The crust was just right. There was an odd thing where it seemed like they hadn't finished slicing the pizza. My mouth is large but not that big! But it was a simple matter to finish slicing it myself. The people were friendly on the phone and in person. I read in a review that the parking could be challenging, so I was prepared to park next door if need be, but it was no problem. They had chicken salad sandwiches that were in small round buns (hamburger rolls?) and turkey sandwiches in small sub rolls. They looked intriguing and they were quite inexpensive so I will keep it in mind if I need to eat a meal on a shoestring sometime or if I want something a little different than the norm. Anyway, the pizza was so good I figure I have to try a cheeseburger there with fries sometime. There is no fast food place in town, so having a place to grab quick meals from would be great. Oil course it is also a convenience store with coffee, drinks and other items available. I didn't see any fresh pastries but there was a Nearly empty display there so they may have been sold out. All in all a place I want to try again, and in walking distance too.”

“The best part of the store is the manager Cassie. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure any issues are taken care of .The girls seem to enjoy their job.food is great .leadership is obviously the key to a well run store .you can't make everyone happy some are just never happy”

“what a warm place and great prices and they best part is the money goes to these great people, not some huge corporation. oh and the seafood salad sandwich was the best I've ever had, huge chunks of meat wow! thanks guys!”

“Staff here are always very friendly, but I agree with others, there is a strange and concerning odor here often. It’s a sewage type smell… similar to walking in a porta-potty. Doesn’t make me want to eat here! It’s hit or miss though, someday I’ll try the food.

Update: odor is gone!”

“I am so impressed with the Big Apple in Corinna. It is unlike the other Big Apples that I have been to. Every employee that I have met in corrinna has been friendly, personable and helpful. We go there often and have never had an issue. Keep up the Great Work Big Apple Corinna”
