“Terrill and Charlie were so kind to our homeschool group as they gave us a tour of their studio and explained the art of glass blowing to the kids. Both the kids (and us parents!) were amazed at the process. Each finished piece was so unique. We enjoyed looking at all the details and deciding which colors were our favorite! Overall, a very fun and educational field trip! Would highly recommend seeing this unique and mesmerizing process in person!”

“Driving across Maine, I stopped for lunch and found this lovely shop filled with handmade items. I am a professional artist and art educator so I recognize creative and well crafted items when I see them.
The person working behind the counter was friendly and helpful. [She might have been the owner?]. I asked about the town of Gardiner and what its claim to fame was, since I had just stumbled upon it. We had a great chat while I wandered around looking at everything.
Then I spotted it. A sweet, poignant little piece of art that I just had to purchase. See photos. I have always told my advanced art students to, “Show me something I have not seen before.” -And this piece fits the bill.”
“I work from the town and have to take care of the grounds. Though its empty during the winter they have art on display during the summer months. 1 and 1/2 thumbs up with a cup of ramen.”
“Sylvan Gallery is one of my favorite galleries in WIscasset. Several of the artists have won national awards. The contemporary paintings are watercolors, oils and acrylics and are mostly of New England seascapes, landscapes, and still life. The talent represented here is incredible.”
