Laundry in Ellsworth, ME

“Excellent, clean laundromat with everything you need, including helpful employees on site. There's a variety of machine sizes, and countdown displays - so helpful. All the baskets and folding areas were in great condition. Nice customers, and some places to window shop and dine within walking distance while waiting on your clothes to finish.

Stopped in while staying at a nearby Airbnb during a trip to Acadia in which we hiked a lot in the heat and got very sweaty. We haven't used a laundromat in many years, and were concerned about what we would find, especially after passing up a laundry closer to our home base that had a bunch of tweakers milling around outside which scared us away. But Eden Laundry was not scary at all. It was clean, with well maintained machines and normal people using it.

We forgot our laundry basket, so the employee sold us a very large plastic bag for a few cents. Super helpful, as we didn't want to use the same bag we carried our dirty, sweaty clothes in.

“Great and clean laundry mat. Lots of options for washing size and two options for dryer size. You can use the change machine inside or swipe your card for a minimal fee. Pricing is standard but not gouging. Which I find very polite. Thank you!

Restroom is clean. Vending machine for drinks on site. Wheel chair accessible. Tanning booths as well.”

“I have been coming here for years. This place used to be a dive. The new owners are doing an amazing job on the place. It's clean now, the machines don't smell anymore. More to come for this place and for the better.”
