I’ve been a customer for a just a short time with US Cellular. I’ve had several billing issues. Each time I’ve gone in to the store Derek, Deidre or their other sales people are friendly and helpful. Derek and Deidre have both fixed billing errors for me to my satisfaction. Thank you all at the Ellsworth location. Shane.

Well I set up auto pay, and it doesn’t seem to work. I can never get a person on the phone, and I need to know what I owe on my current phone.

Tried to cancel a line on our plan due to a death in the family. Tried online. Can’t do it. Tried thru chat. Need to go to the store. So we hit the Ellsworth store at 5:15 and are greeted at the door with “we close at six “. Not a good start. Greeter is new so goes to a rep to explain our situation Then are told we need a death cert to cancel a line? I’m like wth. At this point the rep runs to the back, did not want to help or 5:15 break? We don’t owe on our phones and plan does not need a certain number of lines. After telling her that she says we have to call a help line. Can’t remove a line in store? Nope. So why are you asking for a death certificate? Customer service is out the window these days

Unlike what a lot of people are saying here, I experienced great customer service. The person who helped us was named Austin, so if his manager sees this please give him a raise. He was great. He helped us pick a plan based on our phone usage and everything. He was even helping my sister pick a phone and case that would match. Even though we finished well after 6:00 pm, the closing time, he was still very nice about it. We were very pleased with our representative.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. When Tim to buy a new phone and get a new phone plan. They acted like they didn’t wanna help me as soon as I sat down. Demanded to know what my last carrier was for some reason. Which was weird. Then ask if I had a card. I said I’m paying with cash. Then started to walk away saying I have to have a card. Knowing I was buying the phone outright. I asked her why that was, and she just kept saying “that’s the rules”. Even though that’s not true at all. Because I went to the us cellular in Walmart after, and they set everything up with cash. And told me that they never had a card only rule. Apparently there has been many issues at this location. I will not be recommending anyone to this place. I hope it gets shut down. 0 stars.

Walked in the store 5:36 store close at 6pm been stuck In traffic getting off the island (bar harbor) and if you know that’s a hassle in the evenings. Anyways walked in to get two iPhone 14 pro max was told no one can help us because they close soon and reps are assisting 2 people and ones waiting ahead of us. And that will make the time go over 6pm and he can’t let his staff go pass 6pm. So two reps are busy assisting and his job is to turn people away NEW CUSTOMERS before 6pm (@5:36) and owners role the cameras you’ll see… he’s costing you new customers (went over to AT&T) WANTED US cellular because we just relocated from another state and our old service doesn’t work.

When I got my first bill I was throughly surprised. I had to wait for an hour to get support from the call center to find out he didn’t put in my promotion. Which is saying something because the store manager was the one who set up my new phone. Also, you should be aware of your phone if you are ever being assisted by the store manager because he took my old phone for awhile out back and almost whipped it before everything was complete. When he came back and told me I had to enter stuff in first, I happened to swipe up and spotted that my photos and Snapchat photos open when I swipe away my apps as soon as I leave them. Thank god I didn’t have anything bad in my photos.Overall bad experience.

Every business is busy these days but the folks at the Ellsworth US cellular do a great job of handling large crowds and technical difficulties while providing great customer service. Derek was very helpful and was able to make sure we had the best deal for the services we needed.
