Casco Bay Inn is a bare bones and decent value roadside inn. It offers easy parking, workable wifi, and clean rooms with hot showers. The beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious, often including a fridge. The service is good, inviting, and nice, with staff described as extremely accommodating, courteous, and responsive. The location is a key pro, being in a good spot with easy striking distance to Freeport and a short drive to downtown. It is situated near a lovely brewery/restaurant across the street, a nice frozen custard spot, and a YMCA gym. The price is reasonable, providing value for the dollar. Some cons include a lobby that is locked by 10 pm, which can limit access, and ongoing construction that can be confusing. There have been instances of no cable TV or wifi. The continental breakfast is fine but has had issues, like warm juice. The inn is considered a viable option for a clean bed to crash on for the night, especially for those passing through, but those staying longer may want to search elsewhere. Many find it peaceful and would stay again.
Bare bones and decent value for a roadside inn. Easy parking, workable wifi, and a hot shower. Plus for a nice frozen custard spot up the road as well as a lovely brewery/restaurant across the street. Easy striking distance to L.L. Bean-dom up the road in Freeport.

The inn was clean, tidy, and comfortable. 5 stars based on the great price and location just north of Portland.
