The hotel is run down. Stains on carpet, old banged up furniture, mismatched towels with holes, walls that need paint, and it smelled weird. Not sure how this place has 4.3 stars. Had my wife been with me she would have said we’re leaving.

Alot of construction going on there. Kind of inconvenient. Could not understand the person checking us in. Not very clear english.

Bare bones and decent value for a roadside inn. Easy parking, workable wifi, and a hot shower. Plus for a nice frozen custard spot up the road as well as a lovely brewery/restaurant across the street. Easy striking distance to L.L. Bean-dom up the road in Freeport.
