L.L.Bean is an awesome store and a great area to visit, often described as a nice touristy destination with lots of shops and things to do. The campus is walkable and lovely, with plenty of parking. It features multiple stores, including a main store open 24 hours and an outlet across the street. The home store is noted as the coolest two-story shop, beautifully set up. While some renovations are currently underway, affecting attractions like the cafe, flowing stream, and water features, these should have zero effect on the shopping experience. The store offers great quality products and a fair return policy. Employees are consistently described as super friendly, very nice, welcoming, helpful, attentive, and exceptionally helpful, forming a great team. The vibe is loved by visitors, who often make a point to stop. Depending on the day, there are fun activities for kids and adults, concerts in the park in summer, and amenities like hot chocolate in winter and plenty of nice bathrooms.

Employees are so nice. Worth visiting for sure. We went at an off time (week day at 2pm) and had no issue finding parking and there were people but not uncomfortably crowded.
