“Purchased some really comfortable sandals at this location a while ago. The store was a little crowded but the service representatives were helpful with finding my size. I wanted a supportive but not low-quality sandal and I found some BOC’s there. They are leather and have held up well over a couple of summer’s so far. The prices there were reasonable and either way the quality is usually found at these stores so the steeper price is worth it when I have had to pay it.”

“Really impressed by their commitment to repairing items and doing so really well. I bought a standard jacket almost 10 years ago, the zipper failed recently, brought it in, not only did they do a perfect repair job, they even gave new life to the faux fur around the top without being asked to do so- something my dry cleaners were not willing to do even for pay. Repair process was so easy, no clunky tracking down receipts or anything. Additionally, ay 10 years old, this jacket works as well as ever, their products really are built to last and built quality. I’m gonna buy way more items from here and recommend this to my friends.”

One of my favorite purchases is the Patagonia Torrentshell waterproof rain jacket, by far the best most rugged rain jacket I have ever used in the harsh Maine outdoors. The armpit vents are very efficient for preventing overheating and sweating. Love the multiple pockets and the drawstring hood which comfortably allows plenty of room for wearing hats underneath it. Don’t change a thing about this amazing jacket!! Highly recommend.”

“Jim saved my feet! I had bought boots 7 years ago in the Freeport store and one of my feet had changed dramatically ( bunion ). I could not be in the boot for more than 2 hours. He made room in the exact right spot, then custom fitted the liners, and also added some inserts to stop my heels from rising. I went from crazy pain to sneaker like comfort! I am sending all my skiing friends to Jim!”
