“Driving across Maine, I stopped for lunch and found this lovely shop filled with handmade items. I am a professional artist and art educator so I recognize creative and well crafted items when I see them.
The person working behind the counter was friendly and helpful. [She might have been the owner?]. I asked about the town of Gardiner and what its claim to fame was, since I had just stumbled upon it. We had a great chat while I wandered around looking at everything.
Then I spotted it. A sweet, poignant little piece of art that I just had to purchase. See photos. I have always told my advanced art students to, “Show me something I have not seen before.” -And this piece fits the bill.”

“Gorgeous pieces in there, easy to get lost in there for hours! The owner makes some gorgeous glass and they have tons of unique and fun pieces. Amazing staff, very helpful and kind, eager to show off interesting pieces without being pushy or hovering. Great place to pick up gifts. Cool mystery bags with fun art on them. Sting ray bag took care of us! 10/10 would reccommend!”
