“Yeah you just try to thank you for the closet main red hot dogs. Turned out this was their warehouse where they actually make the hot dogs and then ship them out! Called ahead of time for a tray of red snapper hot dogs, and the guy was nice enough to actually take us right inside in their cooler area to show us the freshly made ones that were hanging. And then gave us a pack of the Red Hots on the house :) Really sweet people. Hot dogs were delicious too. Just pan-fried them and they had good flavor!”

“They had fresh selections of what I was purchasing in-stock, the customer associates were pleasant and helpful-without being overbearing, and the lines at the checkout were short and moving along at a steady clip ;-) there were plenty available as well.They are definitely more comfortable at the checkout versus Shaws on Main Street...and they take returnables and their bathroom stalls can actually latch unlike Shaw's as well.”

“I’ve seen better but surely seen worse Hannafords. My only complaint is that they’re in the process of re-arranging their store constantly! I am forever roaming the isles trying to find where things are. Maybe it’s just me, but it doesn’t feel like the isles are laid out in the most logical fashion, but don’t ask me what the most logical fashion is lol. It always just seems off.The workers are always friendly, busy, and the store is always clean.Mornings offer a less crowded shopping experience.”

“In the good old days the local store was a community cornerstone who could be trusted to know all about their customers and their needs. When you shop at this Hannaford for awhile, you can almost expect to be recognized before you even enter the doorway. The quality of the groceries in this market now rank among the best in Bangor, with excellent produce and fruits, fresh meats, a nifty delicatessen section and everything you might expect from a good grocer. The shopping center that the store is located in has easy, direct access from the highway or other parts of town. Should you enter the shopping center from the south entrance on Broadway that is across from the donut shop watch out for the super-duper pothole in the middle of the road!”

“I had an unpleasant experience with a cashier on Wednesday the 21st. I said hello, the cashier did not respond and in fact did not speak to me the entire time he was ringing me up. Did not state the total absolutely nothing. It wasn't until my groceries were bagged and there was a begrudgingly given have a nice day. We pay too damn much money for groceries to be treated this badly by an employee.”

“I am a patient and also a semi-retired physician. Based on my personal experience with various pharmacies, I give the Hannaford Pharmacy in Brewer 5-stars for accuracy, price and especially for service. Have you ever arrived at a pharmacy only to find that there’s some problem with the prescription and it’s not ready to pick up? When that’s happened to me, I’ve gotten a phone call from the Hannaford pharmacy BEFORE I arrived for pick-up. On another occasion, they called to warn me regarding the price of my medicine and suggested how I might get a discount coupon. The staff are very pleasant at the pick-up window and although they are also very busy, they take the time to be helpful !”

“The guy named Owen at customer service is fantastic. so so friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Owen, and definitely deserves a raise for the stellar customer service. He was explaining reward points to me and gift cards, and was so so helpful. When he didn't know the answer, he put me on hold to go ask someone who did. Spoke with Owen for 14 minutes. Fantastic guy. I learned a lot about BJs gift cards. I learned you can buy one that is less than $25 if you visit the club (online only allows $25 and up gift cards). I also learned about promotional sales. Super helpful, and great experience. Highly recommend this BJ's location based on its customer service alone!!!”

“Basically I was expecting it to have long lines when cashing out seeing it was a few days ahead of Christmas but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I walked in and had my list of items to get and walked through the supermarket and got my 13 items I needed to get but the store was well stocked up and I really didn't have to substitute anything else. Granted because of the crowded store the people were flowing graciously. I have to say thank you Walmart for the well kept up store ?.”

“This morning (4th of July) I went to Walmart. One thing I noticed was the atmosphere was very pleasant which is not always the case at this store. While all the employees were friendly one went above and beyond. Larry was stocking the lunch meat area when I walked over and he politely asked me if I needed assistance. He also asked the deli department to assist me with a few items. It was early and I found out that they helped me even though the deli counter was closed until 7:00 AM. I was grateful for the kindness and going above and beyond. I also noticed that the majority of the employees were older and worked well together. Nice job and a delight considering it is a holiday.”
