I spent several years and went through several different western saddles before finally deciding to ask Barry from Gass Horse Supply to come to Augusta to fit my thoroughbred - not an easy task, but he ended up bringing the perfect Circle Y trail saddle. I wish I had done this years ago. Barry takes all the time you and your horse need to make sure the fit is to absolute perfection, and he does a wonderful job of telling you the ins and outs of the perfect fit. I learned so much. Highly, highly recommend, especially if you find that you are having trouble fitting your horse properly.”

“Only hockey shop that I know of in Bangor. Year round full service ice equipment store. Several of the school's custom bags. They sharpen skates all day. Brought my son in to buy goalie gear. Not a cheap sport. The cost of each item is not cheap. I can only hope he gets years of work with this gear.”

John in the bike area was the kindest and most knowledgeable person we talked to in our entire bike shopping experience. Not only did he actually respect budget restrictions, but he spent a long time with us explaining everything fully, ensuring we got the best we could within our price ranges. I was looking for a gravel bike and my partner a hybrid or mountain bike and we both left happy, thanks to John. If you are looking for a bike I highly recommend this shop. My only recommendation would for them to make it clearer that they sell such great bikes! I had been a few times before for ski needs but somehow missed that each time.”
