“Nice store! Quite a bit bigger than the TJ Maxx in Ellsworth. Staff is helpful and nice. With it being a combo store it has clothes and home decor plus a lot more.”
“Melissa was beyond helpful. However, unable to use my 30% off coupon that I had received in the mail and then drove 160 miles (one way) to use it. Total purchase was $246.87. According to store staff, there has been a “change” in the usage. If that’s the case, I’m wondering why these coupons are even sent out anymore?

My name is Lionel Madore and I am a builder and business owner on MDI, Seasonal and nightly vacation rentals. Acadia getawaysLLC.
I and my business partner recently had the wonderful experience of encountering Joe Thompson. At your brewer, location to help us get flooring for 1 of hour new rental units. To say a breath of fresh air was, I don't understatement. We travel back-and-forth between Maine, California and Florida. And so therefore, getting into the store is not really an option, a lot of times especially when all our employees are busy and especially this time of year, when we're getting everything up And running.
He politely Suggested that, why didn't he just send me some pictures of what you had in stock and that way, we could select and have one of our guys come up and get it. That was way beyond what I expected, and would have ever asked for. This sort of exemplary customer service need to be rewarded. I am in the throes of trying to hire several more Employees, And let's just say it's very hard to find people on the coast of Maine nowadays. I grew up there, I mean, biggest export as a graduate of the university of maine, I love my state, And I love my people. And to find someone who's willing to do that, extra mile like joe is awesome! I want this to get back to someone, I hope it does.

“Decent size Marshalls location in Bangor. Shoes (men's) is a little on the skimpy side the 2-3 times I've been in however, there are good deals to be had in pretty much all departments in this store. I've had good interactions with staff here; friendly group of people.”
“Pretty good spot for your every day living stuff and outdoor living stuff. There are some local gyms here however this place is a little expensive so if you’re looking for a deal, I would probably search elsewhere. There is plenty of park and place closes at 9:00 PM.”

“While I was shopping for an electric blanket at the Bangor, Maine, location, I was assisted by Kathryn, a fantastic JCPenney employee, whose help, kindness, and thoroughness in finding the exact right product for me was phenomenal. End result: I immediately applied for a JCPenney charge card and left her department located between the blankets and children's clothes departments knowing that I had encountered one of the gems who works for your store.”

“Best walmart ive in a while if ever. Typically not a fan of Walmart. They serve a need for me and that's about it and I try avoid them whenever possible.
This Wal-Mart seems to be on a different strategy. Lots are clean and quiet, even with the campers. Items are stocked store itself is clean, including the restroom, (I knew it was possible).
I probably still won't recommend Wal-Mart but if you have to go to one this particular store is top notch. Who ever the manage is here, keep it up your 1/1,000,000.”
“Decent walmart. Double the size of Palmyra Walmart. Clean efficient a typical Walmart. I didn't shop grocery as Walmart "fresh" produce usually is anything but fresh, but that can vary store to store. The rest is the same.”

“Usually busy but always friendly and has what I need when I need it. Helpful staff, I did read several reviews previously about the staff not helping. I'd imagine covid had a lot to do with interactions, trying to give people space. I walk in look around and if I don't see what I need I just ask. Very simple and effective and we've reached a point that people want to give you space and probably don't want to get yelled at for talking without a mask or something. Just do your part and ask nicely and you'll be fine. Seemed fully staffed today so should be easy for everyone”

“To fully appreciate the value of this particular retailer, you should have some awareness of the watery, bog-like nature of most of Maine. Here is one of the few places situated above the mire, unlike most of the business on the Stillwater Avenue strip, which are slowly sinking like an obese person in quicksand. The self-checkout is really popular here, and there is some kind of barista. There isn't always a huge selection of produce or dairy products, and this serves as a reminder that the place is not a grocery store. To shop here is to experience busy employees in a cozy atmosphere.”

“GREAT store, with a lot of merchandise that's suited for all of your needs. Pet goods, home goods, clothing, etc. Most likely you'll come out with something you love, and didn't know you needed. Jake at the register is very pleasant and says "hello" to you every time you come in!”
