The Colony Hotel is a beautiful and charming hotel, described as a fabulous and spectacular blast from the past. Guests love, love, love this place, finding it a real treat and a five star experience. The spacious rooms are inviting, though some note they can be quite pricey and may lack AC or a TV. The hotel is very dog-friendly. The amenities are wonderful, featuring a cozy library, an inviting lobby with a fireplace, and lots of outdoor seating on the porch and in the yard. The amazing pool and beach offer an incredible and beautiful view of the ocean and Mount Agamenticus, which guests will remember for a lifetime. The hotel restaurant receives high praise, with phenomenal food that is delicious and really good. Standout dishes include mussels to die for and a blueberry pie that melted in your mouth. The pool restaurant is also dog-friendly. The free breakfast is amazing and fulfilling. The staff are absolutely wonderful, great, and went above and beyond, with specific praise for the front desk. Some critiques include older shower heads, occasional noise from the restaurant and pool, parking challenges on wedding nights, and a lack of full wheelchair accessibility due to stairs. The area is mostly wheelchair accessible and shops are a 20-minute walk away, with a cute market nearby.
I love this place and have been going back every year for a while. Beautiful location. Lovely rooms with no TVs!!

Awesome vintage hotel with lots of class. A real gem. Especially love the saltwater heated pool!

I thought we would be staying in a hotel that was waterfront. Instead we are in a tiny motel strip with zero access to the ocean or even a view of the ocean. For $250 off-season, I feel that I was misled by what I would be getting.
