“I have dropped off mail ? and purchased stamps here and I was impressed with the style of how the building looks both inside and out. It has an older and classic look that adds to the character of New Castle. I love the old style of post office boxes. The welcome mat at the front door ? is a nice ? touch.
I had a great chat with the woman ♀️ who was working behind the counter. She told me that the Great Island Gardening Club nor only takes care of the flowers ? at the Post Office but for all of the public places at New Castle ?.”
“I had to get some flyers printed last minute and took it over to this store. The employees were extremely helpful and the manager came over to ask if it was possible for me to email him the original so that they would come out cleaner. I paid for the printing then went back home and emailed him the original. It was done and folded for me. But the nicest part was when he told me that the girl incorrectly charged me less than the amount should have been - however, he was going to honor the amount she charged me. I was surprised and pleased of course!
They were busy but efficient in dealing with the customers so that there wasn’t a long wait.”
“Want to say that of all the Post Offices I frequented prior, The Greenland NH Location is by far the best. I live in an adjacent town and utilize the Greenland location for all of my postal needs. “Karen at the Rye Post office is amazing. She greets many people personally and is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Walking in is almost a step back in time to the local village post office. It's full service, hardly any wait and has parking available too. Highly recommended.”
“Update 1/2026: Still great! I've gone here 3 more times in the last couple months and they now recognize me. My packages are always live reptiles or tarantulas and are always handled with care and I truly appreciate it!
This is the 2nd time that I've picked up live reptiles held at this location. Very easy to get your delivery. Show your ID, get your package. They took care not to rough up my package. They're very gentle and I appreciate it knowing my baby snakes were being shipped from PA to NH. TY FEDEX!”
