“Was in today looking for Pita pockets since Hannafords shelves for these were empty. Wards the same. A fine young grocery associate listened to what I was looking for and upon paying for my purchases he approached me to say he had spoken to his warehouse and was able to order 3 different types of pita's. These are a great alternative to bread or wraps for everything. Standing ovation for this attentive sole.”

“There are some odd individuals working here. Not all, I'm sure. The redeeming quality is there is an Amato's Italian shop inside. Oh, and I saw these cake sized whoopie pies too!”

“I loved it. ?‍♀️ not sure why all the negativity, maybe it's changed a bit. But this place is within walking distance to me, thankfully since I don't have a car now. And they sell just about anything you'd need. Tobacco, tubes, pipes, ramen, coffee, I saw a fridge/freezer section, there's a little household goods section off to the side. This place is great!”

“This place is convenient for its location for sure ..the area it’s located at may be a lil rough for some that don’t know the area well ..but from what I seen as well as experienced every time I go their is the staff/workers area very decent people to everyone..they know must of their customers greatly or at least the treatment reflects that .. very cool to see that some businesses have that family kinda feeling they treat all theirCustomers like their the most important clients around ..some people may not have any people in their world that cares enough to ask about their day but this store does that ..very cool to see that people are still friendly to everyone that enters this location as they do ….”

“Gas stations usually are pretty boring but this Irving Oil station is an exception. Of course they have gas and convenience items, but they also have an Amatos inside, and I believe they sell beer and maybe wine also. The cashiers are friendly. But did you know there is also a GREAT car wash here? There's automatic or handwashing bays. There are free vacuums, and there's even a dog wash! I think I remember seeing that you can buy car wash packages, which is really smart foe the winter since we get so much road salt on our vehicles. And it's easy to get in and out of the gas station because there's 2 stoplights right there.”

“I went in to buy one particular product that I needed tonight. I was glad CVS was still open. It was almost 8 pm. Found bandage product immediately because of signage above the aisles. Although did not find the specific item I wanted, found the same item in "Max Hold." Did not need "Max Hold" because original product I was using was staying on just fine. Bought the "Max Hold" because that was what was available, although quantity was 2 less in "Max Hold" package than in original package. When I went to check out, self checkout only was available. Not terribly familiar with this, I was grateful that employee Alice stepped up immediately to offer help. I had $4 coupon on my ExtraCare card that I was able to use at self checkout & was grateful for that as well!”

“Main St is one of the busier arteries in Lewiston's network of streets, and yet somehow... while this Irving is busy, busy, busy... 1. there's always a place to park a) which is important when you just need to run in real quick b) and no one ever blocks you in 2. there's always a gas pump open a) and there's plenty of space between the pumps for multiple cars to actually get to them/no fear of your car getting all scratched up from being on top of the other cars b) the pumps aren't on some weird diagonal 3. and the bathrooms are always clean a) I don't feel like I get the shame-inducing side-eye from the employees when they realize I'm there just to pee and not to buy anything b) the bathrooms are also spacious for cleaning-up and changing outfits I don't know about you, but that's pretty much all I need to be happy with a gas station.”

“Cumbies, for those of us who frequent them, or Cumberland Farms for those who are familiar with the brand has evolved over the last several decades. The majority of them, during my teenage and young adult life, were smaller establishments built with brick and had this pale brown color with the Cumberland Farms logo. They only had spots to pump gas and it was a hot spot for those who like to play scratchers. This location started across the street from where it is today as Staff D. pointed out in her review, and bought the land on its current location and upgraded to a Super Cumbies, well they don't call it that, but one could surmise that is what it would be called. They now have twice the number of gas pumps and the store is nearly 3 times larger. They increased the height of the ceiling, added more fridges and a walk-in fridge to browse the number of beers they offer from your typical corporate beers to some locally craft beers. The quality of the food and snack offerings has significantly gotten better and despite some still labeling it as "gas station food", you have to appreciate the rebranding and upgrades they made to the slushy machines, the coffee station as well as a touch screen ordering system to order some of their upgrade menu selection. I personally enjoy the new look and it was a wise move on their part to upgrade because who complains about a 99 cent coffee all day, and everyday. They do have to compete with Dunkin next door to them, but Dunkin does not offer gas and Cumbies does. Stop in and check out the place if you haven't seen it.”

“The young lady with glasses is awesome. She's always smiling and has no problem helping the customers. Many times I've encountered cashiers who act as though you're messing up their day by cashing out. I'm glad to say this young lady is not like that and I will continue to go there because of her.”

“They are awesome here..Let's not complain about the wait, as they r doing there best to help all as quick as they can. Not everything is perfect n sometimes things take a little longer for various reasons..not to mention so many businesses out there being short handed. Let's be kind and patient...you all at Walgreens Pharmacy on Sabattus St in Lewiston are doing Great. Thank you”

“Very convenient stop to grab one of almost anything you need. The pharmacy, as with many chain pharmacies the last couple years, has gone severely down hill since their long time pharmacist was forced out in favor of younger, not as highly paid, pretty green pharmacists. The constant stream of difficult customers also has something to do with it as well. Just be nice people...be nice and be patient. Put yourself in their shoes for a moment! Rant over.”
