“I have never, in my 67 years encountered a more honest, forthright, and skilled mechanic. I took my van in with what I thought was a major transmission issue. When he couldn't reproduce the symptoms, Paul called me and I picked it up with NO CHARGE! He is currently replacing the frame on my son in law's pickup. I don't think there's anything he can't fix. “My car needed service. When the check engine light came on I drove it directly to Emerson with no appointment. Although they were booked solid for two weeks they agreed to let me leave my car and they would attempt to squeeze it in. In the meantime I went to see Brian Dennis who has been our salesman for years. Told him and Vinnie the sales manager if they could find me a new lease before car was ready I would upgrade my lease NOW! “I have had great service at this location. Although it can be challenging to get in contact with them through phone (I tend to just swing by in person) and they're typically booked out fairly far, especially as winter closes in, the mechanics there are always helpful and honest.
They've been struggling with low staffing for quite a while, which the employees themselves can't really help. They usually are fairly busy when I arrive, so it takes longer than you might expect for a rotation and balance, but honestly it's no worse than Tire Warehouse, for example, who I've waited on for almost 2 hours just for a tire swap.
All things considered, I've never had a negative interaction with the employees there, and they have been honest with me about what they have lined up and a fair estimate of when I should expect to have my car serviced.
I got a great deal on tires at BJs with free rotations, balancing, AND flat repair, and that's is well worth the wait in my opinion. Honestly the best deal I've ever gotten on a quality set of tires.
It seems that low reviews are pertaining to the wait time and lack of efficiency, but give them a chance. It's not their fault the company can't get more people hired.”
