“This is a great place to pick up last minute things. They have a wide variety of everything . You will be glad you stopped for those things you dont want to drive to town for .”
“Mardens is a great place to shop, I love going there.
There is a very special young lady at the checkout in the Sanford store….Savanah is her name and I so enjoy having her help me with my purchases. She is friendly, helpful, efficient, polite and just a super employee.
Thank you Savanah?”
“I had the pleasure of shopping at this store for the first time on March 14, 2026, and was very impressed with the cleanliness and orderliness of the store. Exceptional!! I had to ask to speak to the manager, because the set up was so well executed. I hope the company will hire the manager Jessica who runs this store to train all managers on how to create a great shopping experience.”
“The kindest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered. After traveling the continent for years over 8,000 miles back n forth. By far the best staffed dollar general in the country.”

“This place is a mashup of a local Harbor Freight, a discount garden center, and a Marden's, but compact. There is a decent toy section, and I think that is a big deal with how prices are these days.
Not as good as Reny's was in the 80s, but nothing is!”
