“NO OVERNIGHT PARKING !!! I arrived after 8 pm (PU in the morning) parked on the side and turned off the engine. I parked away from the building, I only came here because in the reviews everyone writes that you can park at night ... 20 minutes later a cop came and said that the owner does not want you to park here and told me to leave ??‍♂️ and come in the morning. The reviews of other drivers are probably not up to date so keep that in mind.”

“By reading the previous reviews, other drivers stated overnight parking is available. So I was here at around 12:30am and stop in front of the loading area but all the way to the edge to make sure I don’t block any other drivers come in after.

I saw a review with an opening hours at 6am, so I set my alarm to wake me up at 6am. When I walk to the entrance, a fat man told me they start loading at 7am instead. He told me to move to the back of the building and come back at 7am.

So I go back to my truck and look on my log, I then realize I can’t move to PC because I am just 5.5hrs consecutive in sleeper. If I put in PC, I screwed up my reset. So, I get off my truck again and request for an exception just for another 45mins to stay where I was. What I thought is after I check in and when I get dock for loading, I can still stay in sleeper to reset my daily duty. As for a CDL driver, you know what I mean.

So, I walk back to the entrance and pleased for an exception to 7am. The fat guy says I can stay there, but if later lot of trucks arrive at 7am, I will have to leave. Then, I get back to my truck and stay alert by sitting on my driver seat to make sure not to block anyone later.

At 7am, I try to check in. The fat guy says my appointment is at 9am, and accuse me that I lie to him, so even he can load me right away, he will not until 9am. So he start his speech without listening. He says I have to move to the back of the building and come back at 9am, or he will cancel my load.

I really don’t mind when I will get it load, I am no rush. The only thing I need to stand with is I didn’t lie to him and he unjustly accuse me I did. So, I stand at the reception and try to speak with him. He just doesn’t listen and keeps yelling.

Obviously, we can’t communicate and I ask to speak with his supervisor. I explained to the supervisor what was my difficulty due to the HOS. He totally understood my challenge and checked me in and give me a dock. In the meantimes, that fat guy just remain angry and keep slamming the door in and out in front of us.

Eventually they start loading me at 8am, which is also about the time for my 8 hrs consecutive in sleeper is achieving soon.

During the whole time, I spoke politely, I asked for exception, I explained, I monitored my truck does not block the others. I did everything accordingly. I have no idea why the fat man was so upset on me and doesn’t listen.

I guess, I don’t know, I am just saying. Perhaps he was not educated and end up a pathetic lonely life? So the only way he feels himself being like a king to dominate others when he has the power by checking us in for loading/unloading? Wow! Then, congratulations! ??

I admit that I was parking at the wrong spot, but that is the first time I stop here overnight and it has no sign to direct me where to park.

Anyway, the loading is all fine. Just make sure some straps available in the trailer, at least two. You need to slide your tandem on the ground with full of sand, that may be challenging sometime depends on the weather.

For the overnight parking, you should go to the back of the building, not at the shipping/receiving area.

The only problem is that fat man employees may need mental aids. It will definitely help to make his life better. God bless him, Amen???”
