“This is a nice store that has the common things you would need to get hiking/camping if something was left at home or broke along the way. They have high quality backpacks, fishing gear, and miscellaneous camping gear which was nice to see as it was a varied selection. They have a nice selection of souvenirs which included items made my local artists which is always appreciated. They serve breakfast sandwiches which is great if you want to get an early start in the park. The sandwiches as delicious! Their coffee is fresh and had great flavor (if i remember from a somewhat local Maine roaster). If you want a memorable whoopie pie, this is the place. First off, its HUGE. Second, its perfect. If you think you've had an excellent whoopie pie before, you haven't. This is it. I'm not an expert but their whoopie pie made me one.”

“We had a great “wilderness “ experience here , for 2 days. The only drawback was the road to get there: rough gravel washboard ride! Worth the trip, though. Our camping site was right on the Penobscot River . Wow! Viewing Mt Katahdin so close was amazing. We’re not hikers, but many folks who stay here are.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
