“Although it was a rainy day, I was able to enjoy the beautiful view of the beach with strong waves.
The Ogunquit Museum of American Art is a museum specializing in modern and contemporary art located in Ogunquit, Maine. Best of all, the museum is located on a beautiful waterfront with fantastic views.
To quote from the website, in 1951, artist and collector Henry Strater purchased land in Ogunquit and began establishing a museum. In 1953, the museum was officially opened.
The special exhibition I visited was Domestic Modernism: Russell Cheney and Mid-Century American Painting (August 1 ~ November 17). For some reason, I could feel the atmosphere of Vincent van Gogh somewhere.”

“By far the cutest and quirkiest shop. There is lots of art on the walls for sale and so many cute things. Lots of Taylor swift stuff(not official merch but rather cute themed stuff).

“Located near Brix and Brine, this dealer offers contemporary and fine art. They have been in business for over 25+ years and I was glad to have stumbled upon this gallery under the trees. Even though I didn't buy any fine art, I did purchase some of their eclectic note cards depicting images of what Maine has to offer.”
