“I have had great luck with this Bank. The people there are always friendly, and the branches are convenient to where I live. Most importantly was a trip that I recently took to South America. My credit card number was stolen while I was overseas and the associates at the bank we're incredibly accommodating in assisting me with getting a new card thousands of miles away. They were able to change all of my information to an international address, and put a rush on the card for me. This was extremely helpful because I had no way of obtaining money for about a week and they were empathetic to my situation. My other bank is not at all like this. The one thing I will mention is that this is not the bank to go to if you are looking for a loan. The interest rates are very high, but all of their other services are wonderful.”

“I must say in today’s world of automated service and AI assisted work staff ….i went to the TD Bank in York Maine today and had such a refreshing memory of what great and customer friendly in person experience should like when I was assisted by Yuel Park a very charming and friendly young lady who actually made me feel secure in knowing this experience still exists!…in fact I will probably opt to go in person to deal directly with Yule in lieu of calling a toll free number and speaking to someone I don’t know….she was not only extremely helpful but also cared to take the time to take care of any of my concerns or needs…whoever the bank manager of this branch is should make sure you keep such a valuable asset such Yuel….!!!”

As a fledgling business owner, there was much I did not know about business plans, application processes, required documents, etc., when opening accounts and starting the process of purchasing our business. Joanie was warm, friendly and patient, taking me under her wing through each step. My lack of experience or knowledge did not sway or discourage her from taking the time necessary to help me understand my business plan, receiving a loan and the grand undertaking we were amidst. I felt she treated us with the utmost respect, as if we had been business owner for years. I have been a member of the Bangor Savings family since high school, but never needed the banks assistance in the way I did with this endeavor.
