“This is the second time I’ve used these guys for jewelry repair. They were upfront that because the bracelet was only gold plated and super delicate, there may not be a solution. But only a week later, the bracelet was fixed. It’s not “cheap” (this repair was $60) but if you have invested in pieces and want to make them last, it’s worth it.”

“I've been to the store in Portland, and I've ordered a piece online. Both experiences were very pleasant. In the store, even though I didn't buy anything at the time (I didn't want it to break on the plane ride home), the woman who showed me around took the time to answer all of my questions. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the different types of pottery, even explaining one particular glazing process in minute detail. The collections were varied, and all were beautiful in different ways. Months later, I went to their website and purchased one of the pieces I'd admired in the store. The piece arrived quickly, packed very carefully with detailed care instructions. It looked even better than I remembered, and it made a lovely gift for a dear friend of mine. I can't wait to visit the store again when I return to Portland this summer.”

“Wonderful, large bead store with lots of Miyuki beads, beach glass focals, Czech glass beads, kits, and so much more. Very friendly staff, components by local artists, classes offered, and an attached museum with some amazing works! Truly a must-see for anyone interested in beading. Lots of books, too!”

“Beautiful pottery for all your home needs! They sell full dinnerware sets, large statement vases, and lovely ceramic lamps. They also sell other gift items and home goods, like table placemats and linen napkins. When you purchase items here, make sure you love it and want to keep it because their return policy is terrible (why they aren't getting five stars). We purchased table mats in the fall but they size ended up not working out for our table so we tried to return them. Apparently I had missed a tiny, hand-written note that says returns are for store credit or exchange only. I elected to do the store credit, but the cashier was intent on me picking out an item that day in the store. It took several phone calls to the manager or owner for her to figure out how to issue store credit that could be used at a later date. What should have been a quick, 5-minute return took over 20 minutes. When we returned recently to use our store credit, we picked out some nice linen napkins and presented the receipt that said store credit, but the cashier (same woman) was incredibly confused and said the return was already complete and therefore we had no store credit. We explained the situation and she eventually figured it out, but again it took much longer than it should have.”

“There are two Toko Indo's in Portland. One on Commercial street and the other on Exchange st. Both are owned by the same person, a person who has an incredible eye when it comes to buying clothes, jewelry and other sundries for her shops. I absolutely love the aesthetic of the selection at Toko. Lovely and unique additions to your wardrobe for reasonable prices. I also love to shop their jewelry, which is just as unique as their clothing!”

“I adore this place. They cured me of all of my trauma from trying on jeans as a kid. I walked in having no real clue what my size was, but the staff member who helped me immediately started pulling things for me to try on and I found a fantastic pair of jeans that fit my body fantastically in under 20 minutes.”
“I saw a metal sculpture on their website that was out of stock. I contacted the stores directly to see if they had any in stock, I wanted to purchase 2 for Christmas gifts. Nicholas from the Portland location, assisted me and he was wonderful! They didn’t have any in stock but he offered to contact the company to order it for me. Nicholas ordered them and he shipped them to me so I could have them in time for Christmas. Incredible customer service by the staff, I also talked to others employed at this location.
