“We drove into Rangeley for the Eclipse, and predictably the whole town was swamped. We decided to see if we could park at the grocery store, and shockingly, we could! They had people out in the parking lot directly traffic, and even though the lot was clearly way over capacity, it ended up being very easy to park. We bought stuff for lunch here, and it was astounding how well-prepared they were to handle the insane amount of traffic; the store was still neat and clean, the shelves were well-stocked and tidy, and even the bathrooms were in pretty good shape. I've seen local grocery stores in much worse condition on a casual weekend afternoon; the staff at this IGA must be incredible.Ultimately, this IGA ended up being the perfect place for us to view the eclipse, in addition to just being a nice place to buy some food and drinks.
