About Project Puffin Visitor Center
The Project Puffin Visitor Center is a cute and neat little spot celebrating the success of bringing puffins and other rare seabirds back to historic nesting sites. It features fun, educational, and interactive exhibits for all ages, including a great video about the project. While not a ton is there, it is great for a stop of about thirty minutes. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate. They are happy to explain the project, answer any questions, and provide information. Visitors can learn about the life cycle of the puffin and the great conservation work, which has greatly increased the puffin population. There is a lovely gift shop with nice things, where proceeds directly support conservation. School groups are welcome with advance notice. The physical center is closed from late fall to early spring, but the online store is open year-round.

Awesome little puffin-themed shop! I've had my artwork for sale here for many years and the people who run it are great folks.

This is a great place to learn about the importance of the puffins and other sea birds. I recommend watching the short film which is very informational. I learned so much in my brief visit. The staff member on duty was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Great work being done here is collaboration with Audubon. Seabird Institute. Feel free to drop by and learn about one man's successful restoration of seabird puffin and royal tern. Ongoing efforts include environmental stewardship. Buy something to support continuous efforts
