“If you're looking for PREMIUM furniture. THIS. IS. IT!!I first heard of Chilton from my in-laws who have multiple Chilton dressers, chests, side tables and other pieces, which are over 10 to 15 years old, and they still look and feel (and smell) brand new! Chilton stands by their pieces and you can see why. So my wife and I went and ordered the MS1 chest and dresser for ourselves. They were both in stock so they were delivered within 2 weeks! The pictures on their website are great, but when you see and feel them in person, you can see their elite craftsmanship in every little detail. The solid Cherry wood, the clean finish, the soft closing drawers and the nice sleek lines give them the classic timeless elegance!I can rave all day about their pieces, but their customer service, and the people who work for Chilton is what makes them the best!Once our pieces were delivered to our doorstep by 2 wonderful gentlemen, Adam and Bobby, they moved the 2 over 4 drawer chest up through our stairs into our 2nd floor bedroom nice and easy. But the 8 Drawer Dresser was not fitting through as smoothly. They tried every angle and every option, it just wouldn't work. It needed just a couple inches more clearance to fit. My wife and I were distraught, and didn't know what to do. So we called Chilton and talked to Eleanor, who was SUPER understanding and knowledgeable and offered us a bunch of options! We had to send the dresser back with the guys, but Eleanor and the team of builders at Chilton offered to build us a custom MS1 8 Drawer Dresser with removable legs! This custom dresser will have to go through their pipeline, so we'll have to wait, and it would cost a tiny bit more than the original, but we were so happy and thankful that they were able to accommodate so many options for our situation. Eleanor was very responsive throughout this process of trying to find us our options! “We were in need of a new mattress as the one that was approaching 8 years old had developed an issue and Jordans was able to facilitate handling of the manufactures warranty and we received full credit on the original purchase price towards a new mattress so we decided to visit the S. Portland store and were greeted by Neshti who welcomed us and back the process of deciding on which mattress we would choose.We discussed that even though we had the credit we were not against buying the same brand again and certainly open to new options and would consider spending a little more to increase the quality of the mattress we were buying.After several models and questions answered we found one that we liked and moved forward with the purchase, at no point was their pressure from Neshti on which mattress to consider she was quick to answer questions and give insight on why we would consider one versus the other.She was able to pull up our information apply the credit and cash us out for the difference in the cost and schedule delivery just 3 short days out.We appreciate the assistance and would recommend seeing Neshti if you are in looking for a mattress.”

“What can you say about furniture? It's a necessity, and definitely a get-what-you-pay-for situation: if you want lasting quality, it costs. Simple as. Cheap doesn't last: quality does. Service lasts, too. As awful as their TV ads are, Furniture Superstore proves themselves a quality operaton with outstanding staff providing a responsive and thoughtful shopping experience. I went in with a concrete idea of what I wanted, but not what would best suit my requirements. Design Consultant Jamie listened to my wish list, asked some pointed questions, and gave me the time and space to try out various pieces until I found the ideal items. I appreciated his patience with and respect for my process (which involved 'testing' dozens of pieces) until I found exactly what I wanted. Because of the wide-ranging selection and their pricing models, I was able to buy 2 pieces out of the same budget - score! Of the 2 pieces I bought, one was a floor clearance and came home with me the same day. The second piece was a new order, for which Jamie showed me the fabric rack and I got to select the upholstery. The store called me when that item arrived, a week ahead of schedule, and now that I have that piece, the transaction has been fully concluded. Shout out to Solomon on the loading dock for his creative-problem solving skills in helping me load both pieces into my vehicle. Thank you, Solomon! I am pleased with my purchases from Furniture Superstore and greatly satisfied with the experience as a whole. Maybe the TV ad is janky because Furniture Superstore invests more in its in-person promotion, which is far more valuable and longer-lasting, than a 30-second clip. “I recently bought custom-made twin xl bunk beds from Maine Bunk Beds for my five year old twins. I found the company after hours and hours of internet research, trying to find bunk beds that (a) would last long enough for my kids to use until they leave my house, (b) could be separated into two beds, and (c) wouldn't off-gas a toxic brew of VOCs into my kids' room. I am not disappointed. To the contrary, I feel pretty happy about having dropped essentially two grand on bunk beds. The fact of the matter is that these beds are extraordinarily well-made, and my five year olds have just gone from their toddler beds to the last beds I will ever buy them. Jim and others with the company were awesome during the process and answered my incessant questions without letting on that I was being annoying: 1) Can't you deliver it in three weeks instead of eight? Their birthday is coming up. (No. Custom made, duh.) 2) Can you paint the bunks two different colors? (Yes) 3) What is under the mattress? Is it toxic, formaldehyde-laced plywood? (No, it's the eco-friendly, soy-glue version of plywood.) 4) Is it strong enough to hold the heavy latex mattresses I'm going to buy? (Yes, holds 300 lbs!) And so I bought the beds, and I laid out the extra TWENTY!? bucks to have someone assemble them in my house. (That was a Christmas special I think, but worth $100 or more in time and headache savings.) The beds are here now, and they are just as great as advertised. It's hard to get quality like this.”

“We worked with the Shed Happens staff and were pleased from the beginning to the delivery and we remain very satisfied. They are professional and friendly. We made mistakes when ordering and had to swap our shed out to comply with our Association rules. Our fault totally.This meant the experience went like this; deliver a shed, remove a shed, delivery another shed. Now that may sound easy enough and although it was for us as the customer the installer Nikki had her work cut out for her. The area was congested, to say the least. The equipment and her abilities were challenged and they both were incredible.The shed is great quality but the people are outstanding. We would highly recommend Shed Happens in Saco.
