“What a wonderful 3 days we spent at the Higgens Beach Inn!Our room was small but comfortable (especially the bed!). The beach is no more than a few minutes walk from the inn.Our breakfasts were included in in the room rate and they were delicious! I loved being able to order just what I wanted. We also loved that freshly made muffins, cookies and coffee were available over the course of the day.It was the staff who really put the Inn over the top. They were warm and welcoming and did everything to make our stay special.We wish that they were open year round but we will wait for spring and be back for sure!”

“Great option for a short stay at the beach. Location can't be beat. Rooms are clean. Small fridge, 2 burner electric stove with pots/pans. Dishes provided. Front of house rooms with a nice porch and partial ocean view. Great place to sit and get an ocean breeze. Everyday housekeeping changes towels, empties trash etc. We have been there twice this summer and will be back for another 3 night stay in August. Joe and Ann Marie are excellent hosts.Rooms: CleanNearby activities: Beach is 200 steps away. Several restaurants within walking distance. Within a couple miles of Old Orchard Beach”

“Was here for a quick gathering with some friends.Stunning views, especially around sunset.Parking is terrible, disorganized and people just end up squeezing into areas that aren't parking spots? That was the most stressful part of this visit.Staff in general was ok, they were present, but not friendly nor welcoming. Thankfully our wait staff member was awesome! I made sure that she received a generous gratuity, as I can't imagine working at this location. The mix of people in the restaurant was interesting. Some were treating the staff members so rudely, it was hard to ignore. The patrons made this visit not so great either.I had the clam dip and chip appetizer and it was DELICIOUS!!!! All of the food options my friends ordered looked amazing and they sounded very pleased with all of their food and the drink specials.I will go back, if I'm invited to attend an event here, as the food was great, the wait staff was great, and it was clean with a nice ambiance.”

“Had an amazing time at the Chart Room, which is located within the Black Point Inn. We all ate fresh Maine seafood while dining outside, enjoying the beautiful views. Our service was fantastic as well. This is a must visit restaurant in the area. We all loved the experience!”

“Booked a last minute room and we were very well accommodated by the staff at this location. They were all very friendly and paid attention to all our needs and requests. The inside of the hotel is very nice, The room was well kept and spacious for my family of four, as was the bathroom. The only issue was we arrived late and parking was jam packed and we had to park our car a little away but the parking lot was well lit. no complaints here and would definitely recommend it!”

“Had a very pleasant stay. The room was very spacious, well organized and equipped with everything you'd need. Very clean with no harsh smells and not overly perfumed. Everything worked perfectly. The front desk staff was decent and efficient. Working in the industry myself I tend to be overly watchful and this beautiful room passed. I absolutely love the set up of the complex as well, very efficient and comfortable looking. I will be back.”
