“Some rust issues on my Subaru had my muffler all but falling off. I figured I'd need to drive the super loud thing over there to get a quote, but turns out with a VIN or license plate #, they were able to text me a quote over the phone, which was so amazing as I didn't have a lot of time to bring it over.I set up my appointment via text as well, and it was about 10 or so days out, but it didn't even take them half the day to finish the work, and best of all, they realized I didn't need a certain part installed so the cost ended up being significantly less than what they quoted originally. If that isn't evidence of a very honest operation, I don't know what is. Highly recommend Twin City!”

“I was having trouble with the transfer case on my 4X4 Suzuki and set an appointment with Pete at the Portland AAMCO garage.The appointment was several weeks out due to the demand of services at Pete’s AAMCO garage.As the appointment drew near, I towed my car to the shop and Pete said that backorders and supply chain issues had put him behind on his appointments. He said he would get to my car as soon as possible.I completely understand what he is going through because that is today’s state of affairs and left the car knowing he would do everything in his control to complete my job as quickly as possible.Pete must have worked through the night and weekend to finish my car on the date of my appointment.Pete’s character and work ethic reminds me of the way America used to be. “I needed a transmission replaced. They allowed me to choose a used transmission (from bow auto salvage) with less than half the miles on the car. The transmission was delivered the next day (Came with 6 month warranty, I added a labor warranty for $200). The repair was done promptly (I made an appointment as the car was still drivable) and on the estimate. I was very happy with the result.”

“At 56 years old I've had many cars and both good and bad mechanics. Joseph and his team were great! I live in PA and bought a used truck in ME. I bought used running boards, a bed cover (both of which were wrong size). Joseph made them both work. The tailgate would not open, he fixed that but told me the lock was not working. I said don't worry, I won't need the lock. When I picked it up it was fixed. They even stayed open late on a Friday to finish all of the work. Can't recommend him enough!”
