“Had our wedding in Oakland this past September and ordered a bunch of 3' subs from D&L for lunch the day of our wedding. Everything was excellent -- the subs were delicious, price was fair, ordering ahead was easy, and service was great. They even put toothpicks with flowers on them which was such a nice touch! Highly recommend.”

“Quick and friendly staff. Had 4 new all season tires put on my Subaru Forester in under 20 minutes.
A local referred me to Everett while in town.
No appointment, just walked up.
Thanks ya'll!”

“Born and raised in Maine and moved away because my husband joined the military. The thing I missed the most was the turkey “Italian” sub sandwich with those sour pickles. Every other experience I have had during our visit has been sub par. This was the absolute most delicious Italian I’ve had! We went to Sam’s and Amato’s and neither came close to how delicious this one was! My husband got a specialty toasted sub also that was out of this world. Kudos to the lady who was in the kitchen on September 1st 2025 a little before 1pm! Amazing! We will come back every time we visit!”

“I don't buy gas anywhere else, if I can help it. They also take my health insurance OTC card, and it pays for my gas for my truck. Also, they pump your gas for you and will clean your front and/or back windows when you ask nicely.”

“Whenever Shell gets super busy I go to Laneys for gas. Takes longer to get in and out. It's a couple cents more per gallon than their local competitor. They aren't open 24/7 which is kind of a bummer. Overall though it's a very good place to go.”

“I am rarely disappointed by any Irving gas station and this one was another good one. Their bathrooms always live up to the Irving promise, and I have rarely had a gas pump fail to work properly. I carry their debit card so the gas price is generally at or near the bottom of pricing in their regions. Service in the shops is also something you can count upon for what you need. Thanks, Irving.”

“The only place in skowhegan I usually go for gas. Not only are they the cheapest without any form of membership, their staff is wonderful. Very kind people working here. And open 24/7. Awesome.”

“The pizza is super thin and has really great flavor, we’ve also had their meatball sub and chicken parm sub and both were better then anywhere else we’ve tried. The bread for the subs do not become soggy and stays fresh even after sitting for a bit.”

“wonderful staff and management. the very personal management gives it that locally owned small town feel but, clean and professional. very down to earth personnel. good parking and place to view downtown. take time to look up at the historic primitive art or enjoy a coffee in the Skowhegan Indians shade. a good starting point to start viewing the town.”

“Always excellent customer service here! Sometimes I'm here twice a day. All the employees are kind and very helpful. It's a very busy store but the cashiers always open up the other register if needed and I rarely have to wait in line. Quick service!! 5 *”

“Nice little market. In addition to regular market products, also sells homemade cakes, breads and cookies...very good. Pizza is very good. Sells by-the-slice also. Great menu choices! Sells gas too.”
