“I visited several times as a college student in the mid and late 90s. This place endeared Maine to me and was a base to exploring the natural history and ecology of coastal Maine. It was amazing to meet and study alongside of people from across the US and around the world. Accommodations were great (during my time there was a lot of growth and expansion), food top notch, and the generosity and engagement of the host/director made this feel like home. I can't really review classes or programming since my experiences were limited to ecology classes and programming facilitated by my college professor who had connections with Eagle Hill, but as a campus and starting point for local nature courses you can't do any better. I am pleased to see the journals are going strong. It has been far too long since I have been in Maine or at Eagle Hill but I hope to get back there in the near future.”
