“Had a squeaking sound for 2 weeks, went to two shops for diagnostic and got bad information and terrible quotes forcing me to change the tensioner and alternator myself to find that the problem was unchanged both times. One of which was a Honda dealership. Brought it to the guys here and they nailed it first time. It was the water pump. My part was $155 coolant was $25 labor was like $400 I’ve seen worse. Return customer. Would reccomend.”

“My wife Doreen and I had a great experience at Goodwin Volvo. It started with a Sunday stopover on our way back from watching our grandson play basketball and we saw three vehicles that we really like the looks of they were pre-owned certified XC90s. We had a little bit of trouble communicating with the sales department at Goodwin for some reason. I think they should consider changing how they answer phones but we did finally reach somebody by the end of that week. We went down on Saturday to look at and try out a couple of those vehicles that we considered other models, but being big people that we are, we like the XC90 and our salesperson. Ralph was fabulous. Very accommodating. We looked at buying new versus buying slightly used and the economics made sense for us to buy the certified XC90Dude, unfortunate circumstances in the Central Maine area. There was some challenges in our pickup of the Volvo but Goodwin's made and possible for us to pick up the vehicle when we wanted to and are their business manager. Jared was very helpful as wellI would recommend anyone to give Goodwin's motor group a chance when you're shopping for a vehicle. It's a little bit more old school than some places. “I called Lee Tire in Topsham this morning because the right front tire pressure on my Outback was down for the second time in a week. I needed to be making a 90 minute drive one way to care for a 2 year old grandson on Sunday. Peter said get it to them ASAP because they close at noon. I was there within 15 minutes. While I had a leisurely cup of coffee next door at Kopper Kettle, the technicians at Lee Tire plugged the slow-leak and I was on my way by 11:15am. This 71 year old single woman is very grateful for this reasonably priced service and peace-of-mind.”

They give great coupons, if you sign up for them, such as 20% off service, free Maine state inspection, and recently gave a free in-cabin air filter. Pricing is a bit more expensive, as may be expected from a dealership. Communication is generally good. There was an issue where we received a recall notice, talked with service about it, and set an appointment; however, when we called a few days before, to add an oil change, they informed us they were about to call us as they could not perform the recall work at that time. Overall, though, we'd trust them with auto work.”
