“This was one of the highlights of our trip to Bar Harbor, so glad we stopped on our way home. The owner Dana, was a pleasure to talk to and there was lots to see at a variety of prices. Dana was also happy to suggest other stops as well.”

“Acquired 3 hats, what a find, 1930’s and 1950’s! Can’t wait to wear them ? so many relics to look at. Great prices, couldn’t get enough. Seems like a popular place for visitors and locals alike! 2 floors and basement of amazing things. Felt like I traveled back in time”

“Great wide variety of antique items, I walked out with very nice caulking irons used in boat work, you can find these type of items in these maritime communities! Love it.”

“Christopher came to my home to address issues with my grandfather clock. While he was at my home he also resolved the issues with another three of my clocks. He took the mechanism of the grandfather clock to repair/clean at his shop. Yesterday, Christopher installed my grandfather clock's mechanism and pendulum. Grandfather is working like new. Christopher even adjusted the volume of the chime to accommodation our smaller space. The volume still needs attention, but I'm sure Christopher will attend to that. He is very personable and very capable.”

“Stumbled across this little antique store on vacation visiting Bar Harbor. Originally coming from uptown suburban Indiana, and going to college at Indiana University, I am used to poor antique selections at thrift stores and antique malls.Upon entering the building, I was immediately greeted with true vintage pieces. Glassware, furniture, jewelry, clothes, a little bit of everything. I was there for a good hour just looking at everything and ended up leaving with original 1970-80’s pressed Johnny Cash, Billy Joel, and other vinyls as well as a beautiful sterling silver ring. Not only we’re the owners welcoming, but their prices were beyond fair, only paying $130 and some change for 3 vinyls, a ring and polishing microfiber.Had a fantastic experience at this little store and believe anyone can find something they like as long as they look hard enough. Hope to be back in the future if I’m ever in Bar Harbor!”

“The Dream Catcher was highly recommended to me by the owner of one of the other antique shops in Ellsworth. It's in a historic building on Main Street and has three floors of antiques, collectibles, and vintage items for sale by 80 or so vendors. There's quite a selection of everything you could think of. I particularly liked all the nautical items (buoys, paintings, carvings, ship lanterns, prints, chests, colorful glass balls in rope, etc.).”
