“Steve and Joe at the Wells location went so far above and beyond for me. They saved my day by letting me grab some propane tanks right at closing time. They easily could have told me they are closed and went home for the night, but they know I am loyal and frequent customer and they made sure I was good and taken care of. I can’t recommend the staff at this location more highly. Great customer service.”
“After being let down last minute by another location, Jeff and his crew (from the Biddeford location) really came through with flying colors for my daughter's wedding pictures!! I had rented a tent, 7 tables and 40 chairs - signed a contract in June - only to be told 2 days before delivery (in September), that the other location no longer had tents available for rentals, and I should have gotten a call (I didn't). Jeff called the other location, and got my whole order, arranged to have it delivered, threw in a second tent because he hadn't had time to verify the ordered size was in good order, made sure we had stakes and sledgehammer, all with a little more than day's notice... and then called me afterwards to see how everything went, and to let me know it had been picked up after the event!! He went so far above and beyond and I will be forever thankful that he/they made a miracle happen! Thank you so, so much for your EXCELLENT customer service!”
“The assistant manager Michael truly exemplifies the Ace hardware promise “ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks”. After hours of frustration trying to reattach my weed whacker head I went to Ace in a desperate attempt to see if someone could help me. Michael was more than willing to help me. He truly went above and beyond and took his time to help solve my problem, while assisting other customers as well. He was so patient and kind and ensured my problem was resolved before I went on my way.
