“I saw an associate helping an elderly man, she was so nice to him, he was getting g a sports jacket and shirt, I wanted to go to her after and thank her for being so nice to him, she was helping him get the right size and showing him how it looked in a mirror. Very impressed. I wish I had her name. It was in the Westbrook, Me store”

“My name is Amanda. Im a 57 year old young women, and what I have just experienced at y’all’s so called establishment is unforgettable, unforgivable, and unspindled. I went with my 10 YEAR OLD Faith. First off, I couldn’t even find the Sephora! I walked for HOURS inside the Kohls. It STUNK inside. And my shin was throbbing in the most utmost pain after getting knee surgery. I had to walk so much! And my poor sweet baby of Jesus child, Faith, she was in distress. She has declaring to get the new Drunk Elephant bronzi drops. Anything for my baby, even if it means spending all my life savings for all her products. After many hours, helpless frolicking in sorrow, I finally decided to ask a staff member for help. I cannot believe they didn’t see me limping in pain and a confused grin on my face. Not to mention Faith, who was gripping her Lululemon fanny pack in complete anguish. After screaming at this young man for not noticing, I was met with groundbreaking news. The Sephora was outside and not in Kohls. This horrific costumer service and completely misleading name made me completely fathomed. How could they treat me, a paying, respectful, container, and a well-respected and well-functioning citizen be completely manipulated and abused! I stomped away and clenched my fists, while Faith was in distress begging for the the drunk elephant. She couldn’t wait ANY longer, she was just about to rip her hair out!! I am a horrible mother! How could I treat her like this! After the long, dreading, walk to the exit, I quickly fixed my bleached bob to prepare for this next atrocity. After walking briefly to the Sephora next door I was in a trance. I ripped open the door. I roared at the top of my lungs gripping faith while tears fell from her precious, innocent, due to her having to wait excruciatingly every second for her sacred drunk elephant. I roared, WHERE IS YALLS THE DRUNK ELEPHANT BRONZI DROPS. These staff members approached me in a bratty strut, to break my sweet baby heart, by saying they were out of the drunk elephant by other preppy teens. Faith broke down. She sobbed into the dirty Sephora while saying her life is over. I AM NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS COMPANY EVER. FAITH WILL NEVER RECOVER FROM THIS TRAUMATIC EVENT. GOODBYE FOREVER.”

“They have awesome prices for the stock they carry, which is more geared towards outdoor and physical activities. Lots of sweaters, coats, sweatpants, yoga wear and pet supplies.”

“Portland store is in the heart of downtown and parking is on street right near door or pay parking lot nearby.
It's a Maine adventure that everyone has to experience with bargains and goods that are Maine made for gifts or to treat yourself. Prices are a bargain!!”

“JUST LOVE SHOPPING THE RE. Been shopping at Homegoods since 1998 when I first walked into their store near Boston. They have quality products, not knockoffs! Their prices are reasonable for the quality they sell. Bought a stroller for my cat which sold for 69.99. No where on the internet could I find it for less than 129.99 and I am a natural born shopper. Very nice sales help and Very clean store. Great Gadgets. Happy shopping.”

“My company uses Hannaford Brothers for a lot of outings. We do all kinds of things outdoors in Maine and we buy the deli meats from Hanford. I just want to say that the deli at the Scarborough Maine location is amazing. In particular an employee by the name of Kris has been very helpful and always kind and her customer service is excellent. She knows the products behind the counter and introduces me to new products all the time. (Cooper cheeses). She gets the five stars.”

“My wife loves this place. It's always exciting to see what they will happen to have. It's not quite as busy as the Marshalls by Walmart. We had good service when I was there.”

“Great customer service, prices are average compared to other Portland shops, and super cute products. I bought myself a long sleeved t-shirt that was half off and a stuffed moose for my friend. If you are purchasing something half off, double-check the total as the system does not automatically ring it up and they had to refund me.”

“Always clean, easy to navigate, and they always have what I need. Market Basket has better prices so I don't go here often...

I was in a pinch, they had what I needed but I will stick with Market Basket for the regular...

Same same, customer service was great tonight. No changes”

“Great selection of items. However, pricier on many of the same items that can be found further down the road at lower cost. Some unique items for sure but compare prices down the road , on the Maine souvenirs you’ll be seeing a short walk further. ❤️??”

“Couple employees need learn to smile and tune up the not really to bad of attitudes but it doesn't hurt to smile and be positive, but everyone else y'all are awesome love getting cashed out and when I ask a simple question y'all reply and smile unless you're under the weather but even then y'all try to be cheerful.

I've been in there 2 times for something I randomly needed and BOTH TIMES I left without the items, BUT RANDOMLY NEEDING SOMETHING and never looked for it prior to those 2 times is uncontrollable

Love walking around and finding random must need items though and employees are very helpful and even when they know they are completely out of stock they always look on the shelves and check out back and then they confirm that they don't have any in stock for the customers, even the don't know how to smile and keep eye contact on the registers only will make sure they get a positive there out of stock before they assure the customers that your completely out,

Hopefully I get the attention to the upper management team with this Post. Either your Portland employees should be considered for a raise or something that shows appreciation and not a thank you for being such hard workers”

“There was plenty of stock. Lots of good buys. I did find the store to be a bit of a mess despite it being early in the day, but I am sure that's due to a shortage of staff.”

“I wanted to update my review of this particular Walmart for a very specific reason (I've finally healed from the trauma the elephant inflatable caused; I realize that was more of an issue with Walmart.com than the Walmart in Scarborough), and that's their impressive meat alternative selection in the freezer aisle! As of writing this, they offer not only these well-known brands but an impressive selection from their individual portfolios! Like: + Morning Star Farms (chik patties*, sausage, crumbles, bacon, chick'n and waffle sandwiches, and sausages on a stick wrapped in blueberry pancakes*) + Gardein (mandarin orange crispy chick'n*, ground be'f, chick'n strips, f'sh filets*, turk'y cutlets*, and their ultimate chick'n filet*s, ultimate nuggets°, ultimate buffalo chick'n wings, ultimate sausage links°) + Beyond (plant-based seared steak tips, meatballs, nuggets, crumbles, sausage) + Impossible (bowls, chicken patties, meatballs) + JUST (folded egg*) AND they also offer a bunch of newer brands/brands I haven't found elsewhere in Greater Portland: + Tattooed Chef (plant based beef burrito* and chicken burrito bowls, plant based cheese enchiladas, açai bowls, and more [I am starting to see these at select Hannafords now]) + Daring (plant chicken wings°, cajun chicken wings, grilled chicken pieces, lemon and herb chicken pieces) + Omni (plant-based potstickers°, spring rolls°, luncheon meat, crab cakes°) + Simulate (plant-based tenders°, spicy nuggs, and dino-shaped nuggs) + Wholly Veggie (plant-based mozzarella style sticks, cheddar style jalapeño sticks°, ranch cauliflower wings, buffalo cauliflower wings, and more) + Happi Foodi (plant-based potato hash bowl, shawarma bowl, bulgogi bowl, enchilada bowls) * = items I particularly love! ° = items I haven't tried yet but am excited to! While I try to support local as much as I possibly can, sometimes my budget is just tight. A lot of our grocery budgets are tight. And if you're also trying to live an entirely (or at least mostly) plant-based lifestyle, things get even more expensive. It's all a balance, right? I don't want to buy from Walmart, I do want to buy from these brands; these brands are cheaper at Walmart. See what I'm saying? (I do stand by my previous review on some points, though. This particular Walmart: - has the most chaotic parking lot; no one knows who's doing what, there are some places you can drive in but not drive out, some places that mysteriously have dead-ends, and being a pedestrian? YIKES - so park as far as you can and walk in is my advice! - is **always** dirty. - the Customer Service line is as confusing as the parking lot - skip if possible.)”

“I love this place and not just because it's close. The staff are kind and always helpful and I have very rarely had a bad experience in the 10ish years Ive lived here”

“Best Walmart evah! It doesn't hold the vast amount of items as others but I think that's exactly where it's charm lies. It's quick, convenient and the employees are always helpful and friendly! Add the bonus that you don't have to walk three football fields to get a certain item ?”

“First things first my hairstylist is just absolutely amazing no matter where she goes and does. She always goes above and beyond for her clients. & I am so happy for her happiness now, since she has joined your team.
Secondly I am so glad I followed her over when she moved to your salon. This salon is so much better than what I was used to all the way around. The environment and atmosphere is just so much more relaxed and peaceful. I feel welcomed and like I belong every time I go in there. Great job and thank you for what you do.
lastly, I just wanted to say that they are very workable and make it very easy to make appointments weather that's online or via phone call. As of what I know from experience they are very prompt if you have a scheduled appointment.
I would definitely recommend this salon.”

“Sometimes, it is sane in there, especially before 8. The rest of the time, be prepared for the crowds and lines at the few full service registers and the self-check ones with the occasional software issues.”

“Great store!!! Very clean. Awesome and really nice and helpful associates!!! The store is often very low on product availability in the perishable food & refrigerated beverages section, but the rest of the store is super clean and well stocked!!!
I always really enjoy shopping at this Target store. Everyone is super nice, and the store is very clean and bright, and the music is nice and varied.

Target is a great store to shop at. They also have certain foods & vegan foods that no other store carries, which is so so so convenient, because it consistently beats Amazon's prices by 3 times over (Amazon charges an arm and a leg for foods and drinks due to the cost of shipping heavy items).

Target is my go-to store for many items, including household!!! They also have a ton of great promotions going on all the time, although they can be very confusing sometimes when they don't work when they should have. The front desk is normally very helpful in fixing things that didn't apply, or if you buy something during a week with no active Target Circle bonus, and then you get a Target Circle bonus literally 1-6 days later.

The app can be confusing, and it says things are in stock in like Quantity 10, but you get to the store and there is 1-2 and often zero of them. But I feel like that's a problem faced by a ton of stores, including Walmart (inaccurate inventory listed on website and app).

Highly recommend this Target, and just Target in general! I never realized how many good food deals there are here on items I buy semi-often in large, bulk quantities. Just make sure you clip coupons often and pay attention. I've messed up a lot of my deals this way, or bought food and forgot to clip the coupon offer or deal. You can miss out on so many savings, it's a major bummer. Just go talk to the front, and they will always do their best to help you, in my experience, if you bring your original receipt and items with you and it was a fairly recent buy.”
