“You can tell that the workers at the specialty clinic truly love animals. I am so grateful that we took my cat Nelson here because I left feeling so much less scared about our plan to treat his cancer. The oncologist Dr. Mason is honest, highly experienced, empathetic, and passionate about her work, and I am so thankful that we got a vet like her who seems to genuinely care about what she does. I feel secure knowing that she will be honest with us about his health, but I also feel relieved knowing she will make sure he gets the best care possible. All of the staff were also very sweet and compassionate :) I highly recommend this clinic if you are looking for the best care with your animal.”
“This clinic did everything they could to save a puppy that was not being watched by the owner and ingested a skewer.They offered multiple options and were almost destroyed by the one-sided media story.Medicine costs money.Animal Hospitals do not work the same way as human medicine - invest in pet insurance as soon as you obtain a pet and youll save thousands of dollars down the line.#NOMV”

When we had to put our beloved golden down due to cancer, the staff was very empathetic and supportive! “We just moved to South Portland from CO. Our dogs have been seeing the same veterinarian for the past 8 years and we were anticipating they were going to have a hard time going to a new vet. Dr. Rachel Terry was patient and understanding with the younger 9 month old pup and went through everything thoroughly with our 10 year old lab and took great care of him. I was able to leave there without them being nervous and they were very relaxed. It's nice to know we found our new veterinary so quickly and Dr. Terry, you are stuck with us now.”

“I just had to write this review in praise of Pine Point animal hospital and staff and Dr. Drew and his kind, compassionate care of my Penny. Penny has bladder cancer but is still going on good medicine. Recently she developed giarda (sp) and has extreme diarrhea. Really scary blood and poop all over. He calmed me down and said we're still hopeful she'll get through this. Thanks so much for all your support for Penny and me.”
“This place is great!!!!! Brought my cat in for what I thought was a dry skin problem they did a through exam and found she didn't gave her antibiotics and another medication and sent her on her way”
“I've meant to leave a review for awhile and just happened to remember today. I've been seeing this vet since approximately 2018 and they have always been able to see my animals in a timely manner and provided great care. I started seeing them first when I got my cockatiel who was quite the troublemaker, getting himself hurt several times. Though some of this was due to my own inexperience they were always able to get me in for emergency appointments promptly and made sure he got proper care. They took my calls quickly and always got me in quickly even sometimes sneaking me in only an hour after i called or taking me after hours. I later brought in my guinea pigs who were experiencing skin mites, I regret not bringing them in sooner. Dr. Mulski saw them and although she came off a little rude at first I quickly learned she is very enthusiastic about your pets wellbeing. I saw true excitement in the vet and vet techs as they saw them improve and that truly means alot. I also started bringing my cat to them. Their prices are very reasonable especially compared to some of the nightmare charges Ive gotten with past vets. Even with overnight care Ive never feared breaking the bank with them and they have always showed true compassion for my pets. I just brought my kitty in a few weeks ago for some concern about asthma. They suggested quite a few tests that Im glad i signed off on as they caught a thyroid issue early that we may not have caught otherwise. Dr. Niedermeyer also sat down with me and explained his xrays and test results in detail which im very thankful for. Both vets here are great and really care along with the rest of the staff. I wish I had started seeing them sooner as they have truly helped my pets and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.”

“This is the BEST veterinary clinic I've ever had the privilege of having. Once my dog realized that she was actually loved by the doctors and staff she was not anxious. First time in visiting many clinics. Every doctor is top notch here. They are not only the best professionally they actually care about the animals. AND they are reasonably priced. I know when I'm being gouged and they never tried to get me to purchase something that wasn't in my pets best interest. Eventually I had to sadly bring my geriatric dog for her last visit about a month ago. They were so loving and amazing and made a very difficult time as smooth as possible for myself and my precious dog who never suffered and was peaceful till the end. I can't thank them enough. I will drive 45 minutes to this clinic past many others, because I want the BEST when I get my new dog.”

Donations are accepted with great thanks. They do great follow up. A little hard to get in as they are very busy. A great choice for lower priced, quality pet care. Aftercare services are also available. Would love to see lots of donations toward up graded equipment, and training for staff so they can continue up to date care . Clean place, with very helpful staff.”

From the doctors, to the vet techs, to the staff at the front desk, everyone at this facility will treat your pet as their own family. They are brimming with compassion and respect and will go above and beyond to make sure both you and your animals feel safe and comfortable.
Dr. Bailey has taken care of a few of my animals from the beginning of their lives to the very end of their journey and has made sure they were cared for with love, dignity, and compassion right until the end. I couldn’t ask for a better vet or facility to help me with all of my veterinary needs.”
