“This store I fairly new to our area however, I find it very helpful where it is in it's location! Great place to put that store, I go there very often and always find what I'm seeking at the most reasonable affordable prices! The staff is very friendly and super helpful! “Have been to 7 different stores and each one is a little different. We can spend 3 hours in Lewistons store with fabrics upstairs and tools in the basement. Gray is small for a quick stop, Scarborough and others all have a style of their own. Easy parking”

“It's a Marden's adventure at its finest in this unique location as with all others you just never know what you will find with something for everyone, this is one of the smallest locations but do not let that keep you away as they have it packed with deals from wall to wall, when they say you shoulda bought it when ya saw it....they mean it.
The store was organized and there had been plenty of helpful staff along with lots of parking.”

“I never did go into the older Family Dollar, as it was just being emptied of it's merchandise into the dumpster, a few days after I moved in my apartment in Westbrook, ME. The newly renovated and designed store is very organized and very clean. The employees are always very friendly and personable!! Baking items cookies, cakes $1, cereal $1, glow sticks $1, Monthly dishes displayed $1, pinwheels $1, bagged ice $2.00. etc. just look for the tags.”
“Always clean Most dollar generals are a mess. But the manager at the Gray store keeps it clean. She is always doing something. It seems she won’t ask her employees to do it if she won’t!!! That is good management”

“My second home I'm very glad that Portland Maine finally has a Dollar general I used to go to one in Florida Missouri when I was visiting my family and friends they have reasonably priced items saves a trip from going all the way to Walmart there's three ladies that work there they're very helpful Eve Heather and I don't know the other one's name she has long black hair all three of them have been very nice to me well I already know two of them but when I go in there I feel welcomed I don't feel like off the wall like a wallflower but if they're not super busy I know these three ladies will always be willing to help you and that's no joke I spend a lot of time at this place it fits my budget stop in sometime you'll see what I'm talking about Heather and Eve Will never let you down like I said if they they're not with a customer then ask them for your help they will be gladly to help you I know it's part of the job but otherwise in that they'll help you in any way they can”
